Road mishap claims 3 lives, injures 2 in N. Afghanistan

SHIBIRGAN, Afghanistan, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) — Three commuters including a woman were killed, and two others sustained injuries as a car diverted from a road in northern Afghanistan’s Jawzjan province on Monday, provincial director for Traffic Police Mullah Shabir Ahmadi said Tuesday.
Blaming reckless driving for the deadly accident, the official added that both the injured travelers, including a child, were in critical condition.
A similar accident left five commuters injured in the Shibar district of the central Bamiyan province on the same day Monday. ■
