Rupp minibike and others Tecumseh ignition magneto refurbished snowblowers others - fits most 2 1/2 to 7 H.P. engines with the points type ignition under the flywheel. Your flywheel I.D. should be a little over 4 5/8'' [ 4.645'' ] - This will fit some but not all 8 H.P. engines as well - check your existing magneto and compare. If you have the flat style points cover I will swap it out at your request - if you want to re use your points cover I will issue you a .00 refund and send the magneto without the points cover if you like. Some of these type magnetos vary slightly, most are interchangeable - fell free to ask questions. I've installed a new [ china ] high energy coil, and new NOS OEM Tecumseh points, condenser, points cover gasket, plug wire boot, - the cam wiper felt has been cleaned. Black ''sandwich'' plate design may vary [ same functionality ] This magneto has been tested on an HS40 engine and has good spark, points set at .020''' but you should check the point gap when installed on your engine. You have the option to send your old magneto back to me for a .00 refund if complete with a good points cover and all hardware - if the points cover is damaged I'll issue a refund - provided you pay to ship it to me [ 1st class - you can cut the coil wire off to save weight if necessary ] Please wrap and protect the magneto, also be sure it is not damaged and you include the points cover, the cover spring, points and condenser retaining screws and nut/washer. If you need assistance with the setting of the points/ignition timing I'll be glad to help VIA message or on the phone.
