This is a very high-end product made by PPG Aerospace- DEFT in Mojave California
This 44Y022 Chromated Water Reducible Epoxy Primer came from Boeing Aircraft in Seattle Washington
In the photos you’ll see a sample that I sprayed painted on Aircraft Aluminum
This primer is extremely tough and cannot be scratched with your fingernails !
This primer can be reduced with water as well as cleaned up with water
The manufactures date was June 2019
The rejection date is March 1 of 2020
This reduction date was for Boeing Aircraft Company, they could no longer use it after March 1, 2020 on aircraft that they built.
There is nothing wrong with this primer and I will stand behind it 100%
The primer has been stored correctly
The primer could be used on metal aircraft , composite aircraft , automobiles or just about anything
This primer reminds me of Imrom primer used on automobiles before you sprayed Imron paint
Imron Primer was extremely tough as well , and this primer is exactly the same
