UNIVERSAL FUEL VALVE & VALVE SEALING BUSHING
We buy these high-quality US-made parts in large quantities so that we can pass the savings on to our customers.
These valves work on many different makes and models of generators, lawn mowers, pressure washers and other equipment.  This valve does not have an inlet strainer, and is designed to be used with a fuel filter placed inline after the valve.  This makes inspection and replacement of the filter much easier and typically results in lower fuel flow restriction.  We also carry valves with built-in strainers.
Here's the deal nobody else will tell you:
Most OEM's and parts suppliers are using a standard "black" rubber sealing bushing.  That material does not hold up particularly well over time when used with modern gasoline containing ethanol.
By popular request from our customers, we have recently had bushings produced using a special grade of Viton material instead of the original black elastomer used by most OEM
's.  Viton
holds up significantly better when exposed to ethanol and most bio-fuels.  If you are using fuel containing ethanol, we recommend that you consider the Viton part as it will last much longer.  Viton is a bit more expensive than standard rubber, but it is well worth it if you are using gasoline with ethanol, as most of us are.  Of course, if you are buying the special grade of ethanol-free gasoline, the standard "black" bushing works just fine, so we continue to offer it to our customers that want it.
VERY IMPORTANT FIT-UP INFORMATION:
These valves and bushings are designed to fit into plastic fuel tanks with a 33/64" hole
(0.516" if you are fortunate enough to own a pair of calipers)
.  Some manufacturers have also used them with a specially rolled-edge hole in a metal tank.  They are not for use in a drilled (non-rolled) hole in a metal tank because the sharp edge will cut the bushing and cause leaks.  The Valve Barb is sized to fit 1/4" ID Fuel Hose.
