FORD 9" 31 SPLINE TRACTION LOK MUSTANG FAIRLANE GT TORINO GALAXIE POSI LOCK D0OW

Description

This is an original Ford 31 spline 9" Traction Lok.
It has a D0OW part number.
The D0OW part number is the stronger unit that Ford made but they can still crack. I looked this one over very well and see no stress cracking.
I did open it up (see pictures).
It has the heavy duty center with the 4 spider gears.
It does show wear, but nothing is worn out.
Pads do have some life left in them so it could be used as is if you really wanted to.
I would highly recommend a rebuild while it's out.
There is some very light pitting on the one side from sitting idle for many years (see last picture).
I never used this part so it is being sold as is so it is listed- "for parts or not working".
Shipping box has a size of 11x9x9 and a weight of 20 lbs.
