Nicknamed "Country," Enos Slaughter was a right fielder in MLB with four different teams over 19 seasons, beginning in 1938 and ending in 1959. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, Kansas City Athletics and Milwaukee Braves and he made ten All-Star teams. He played on two World Series Champions with the Cardinals (in 1942 and 1946) and two more with the Yankees  (in 1956 and 1958.) Enos was best known for his "wild dash" from 1st base on the way to scoring the winning run of the 7th game of the 1946 World Series between the Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. Enos passed away at the age of 86 in 2002.This hat would be a special gift for any Cardinals or baseball fan.
