This listing is for the Carl Yastrzemski Signed and Game Worn Roman Pro Boston Red Sox Cap as seen above. The pictured hat is the actual signed piece of memorabilia that you will receive and it has been signed on the underside of the bill by Yaz with a nice full signature. "CY" is written in an unknown hand on the inner headband and the 7 1/4 size tag is present. This hat originated from the September, 2004 Heritage Galleries auction featuring the Yastrzemski collection and comes with a full LOA from Mike Gutierrez. While the letter states that this was worn in the 1970's, we believe this would have been worn during either 1977 or 1978 as that is when Roman Pro was worn by the Red Sox. We only purchased the signed game used cap and did not receive the batting glove mentioned in the second part of the description on the letter. Consequently, this listing is just for the pictured hat with the original letter of authenticity.
