This is a nice universal antenna that works well in a variety of installations. It's a simple straight forward install that fits many vehicles.  It's great for almost any custom install as long as you have a thin metal mounting surface like a roof, trunk, or fender. What's cool is that you only need a 1/4 inch hole for mounting.
It utilizes a wire wrapped fiberglass mast and the reception is excellent. The most important thing to remember when installing a new antenna is to make sure it is properly grounded to metal on the chassis! If not, it will not work.
In an install where it will not be mounted to a grounded chassis it is best to run a separate ground wire direct to the battery.

We've been using these ourselves and selling them for years and they work great.
