This is a typical side pillar mount AM/FM replacement antenna that will fit many vehicles and works great for custom installs. It features a 3 section 18" to 48" adjustable whip and includes an upper support clip.
It's a specific OEM style replacement for many (not all) 1978 to 1983 Toyota Corolla, 1980 to 1982 Toyota Tercel, and 1976 to 1980 Mazda GLC. Note: This is the LEFT drivers side fit for those vehicles.
The most important thing to remember when installing a new antenna is to make sure it is properly grounded to metal on the chassis! If not, it will not work.
In an install where it will not be mounted to a grounded chassis it is best to run a separate ground wire direct to the battery.
We use these ourselves and they work great. Although you can save $$$ and buy this directly from us at a good price online, this is something that we suggest be professionally installed by an experienced technician. If you don't know what you're doing pay a little more and support your local shop!
