I have experience Building and Driving 39 Ford Transmissions since 1961.

Many hours for the last 60 years were spent in collecting these excellent parts.
NONE of the gears I use are from a Foreign Country; ALL are USA and Manufactured in the USA Only.
I won't sell a 39 Transmission that I wouldn't run in my car! Just take this Transmission out of its shipping container Put in your Brand of Transmission oil and put it in your car, or coat it with Transmission oil and store it until you get tired of grinding your OLD gears.

This trans is Built to take out of its container and put it in your car,
it is built to last and will last because it is "Built Rite".
If you have ever pulled the trans out of a 32-48 Ford Flathead V8,
you know how much time & work it takes, You should put in a trans,
that you know is Complete and built to work right away. and work "Rite"!
The Case is Cleaned, Blasted, and Trued; on all Flat surfaces; Inspected for cracks everywhere; the Threads are Chased and cleaned. The Trans Case Thrust Washer Surfaces are: Smooth and Flat Both Front and Rear. Please Look at the Pictures of the thrust washer surfaces they are Flat with no Wear Marks on them.
If you look at other Transmissions and they do not show you The Case Thrust Washer Surfaces, all The New Bearings for the Main Drive, The Main Shaft,The Cluster Shaft Bearings, The Thrust Washers, if all these are not NOS or NEW there very well be problems.  I If I have taken a Transmission apart  cleaned it with Parts Cleaner , and then put the parts back into another Transmission, and expect it to be one of My Built Rite Transmissions , This would never Happen. How can Used Components that make up all the factory clearances be Re- Manufactured with Parts Cleaner?
IF OTHERS DON'T SHOW YOU THE LOW GEAR ON THE CLUSTER SO YOU CAN SEE ANY IMPERFECTIONS I SUGGEST YOU DO NOT WANT THESE! THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE GEAR TEETH IF THE SELLERS DON'T WANT TO SHOW YOU THE GEAR TEETH; OR THERE MUST BE A PROBLEM WITH THE GEAR TEETH; ESPECIALLY THE LOW GEAR TEETH, AND THAT THEY DON'T CLEAN THEM LIKE I DO.   WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? IF THEY WERE PROUD OF THE GEARS THEY WOULD SHOW YOU WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE WITH CLEAR CLOSE UP PICTURES, LIKE I DO.
The Gears are cleaned (and never Bead Blasted which Causes wear and Rust) The 2nd & Hi Gear Synchronizer is USA NOS, With New Bronze Synchronizer. Rings and NOS Thrust Washers.The most Crucial Gears for wear are the: Low Gear on the Cluster;
the Low Gear Side of the Low Reverse Slider; the 30 little teeth on the 2nd Gear and The High Gear; Check the 30 Teeth Points and the Sides of the teeth They are NOS (These drive the car, and Grind 2nd or High gear when they are worn and sloppy). In looking at Trans Gear Pictures of Other Trans. if the sides of the 30 little teeth look like you can take and feel the side of the tooth with your Finger Nail then they are Worn. This Wear Also helps them pop out of gear.
Look and compare these Gear Pictures of What you are buying which are: USA Manufactured: NOS Cluster ; Low Reverse Slider; 2nd Gear, and ; Main Shaft, , Reverse Idler Gear.Now compare these gears to any other transmission or gears you might be looking at. Do these Others show this Detail ?? Do these other gears even show you Clear Clean Detail??
IF YOU CAN'T CLEARLY  SEE THE TEETH ON THE LOW GEAR ON THE CLUSTER, AND OR CAN'T SEE THE SECOND AND HIGH GEAR LITTLE TEETH ON THE POINTS AND THE SIDES, THEN WITH MY EXPERIENCE I WOULD NOT NOT PUT THIS IN MY CAR. THE WORN GEARS THAT YOU CAN'T SEE CLEARLY WILL BE THE ONES THAT CAUSE SLOP IN THE TRANS CAUSING MORE WEAR AND POPPING OUT OF 2ND GEAR. LITTLE PITTS DO NOTHING BUT CAUSE MORE PITS, LITTLE CHIPS CAUSE MORE CHIPS AND WEAR OUT EVERYTHING IN THE GEAR BOX.
I DO MY BEST TO SHOW YOU WHAT YOU ARE BUYING BY SHOWING YOU CLEAR CLOSE UP PICTURES THAT YOU CAN MAGNIFY TO SEE REAL DETAIL, AND  I DON'T PUT QUESTIONABLE WORN GEARS IN MY TRANSMISSIONS. See Factory Clearances of this Trans in Listing. See the Pictures showing you that these gears you are buying with NOS USA GEARS. Looking at used gears that people don't show you the detail and have hidden
Pitts and Chips on the Helical teeth that  will keep disintegrating; causing more Pitts and Chips; on Low Gear On the Cluster and the Low Reverse Slider, and will dig into the Thrust Washers of the Case, Wearing them out.
I use New or NOS Bearings for the Cluster; Main Drive, Main Shaft, New Thrust Washers and Factory Clearance Specifications on the Cluster to Case and the Main Shaft to assure Proper Factory Clearance; Clearances are Done When in Dry Assembly. All are fitted with NOS or NEW Thrust Washers, Main Shaft Thrust Washers, Seals, and Gaskets. The Cluster Shaft is NEW or NOS,  the Reverse Idler Shaft is NOS or NEW. The Main Shaft is NOS and the End Caged Bearing Surface is NOS.
The Shift Top is Taken completely apart and any Parts Replaced with NEW, NOS, Or Excellent Parts; Including: Shift Rails; 91A Fork; Double Detente Balls, and Springs. The Shift Stick is in Great Condition nice Groove and Button, & Correct Pin. If you hear someone say that a 39 Ford Double Detent Top works he same as a 37-8 Ford Single Detent Top with a 3 Inch fork in it , work the same is: totally Wrong, don't believe it as I have personal Experience doing this, and it does not work. Different Shift Stick can be changed  for Additional Cost.Note Trans Repair Manual from Mac Van Pelt Pages 3,4.
The Clutch Shaft is  NOS, or NEW. Case has New Bushings installed. The Fork has No Visible Wear, and the same with the Throw-Out Bearing Holder, which has a New Throw Out Bearing; The Clutch Arm is a New 39 from Bob Drake. Clutch Fork and Clutch Arm are Cotter pinned with NOS Pins. The Inspection Cover is Factory with Factory Screws.
Cluster Shaft and Reverse Idler Shaft ends and Rear Lock Pin are sealed with Permatex Ultra Black Max Oil Resistant Gasket Maker. Note the Picture of the rear Cluster Shaft & Reverse Idler shaft and Lock Pin sides are Sealed and Painted!!
All Gear & Washer Surfaces are coated with Dynatex Trans Assy. Lube which never Hardens. The transmission is painted with:
The Correct Ford 32-42 Green Hi Temp & Hi-Gloss Engine Enamel Color from Bill Hirsch will meet with any Judges, approval.
Transmission has all Factory Correct Thick Headed Bolts and New Lock Washers; for Correct Factory Fit and Appearance. This is Why a Circle Wire is not Needed on the Rear Mount. Quote From Repair Manual Mac VanPelt, Pg. 39. If you Require 8 Inch Rear Mount, let me know after you buy this and I can provide one.
If you want a different clutch arm like 35-38 I can supply that, and if you need  the 1940 clutch shaft instead of the 39 I can supply that at additional Cost , or Require a 8 inch Rear Mount I can supply you that instead, just let me know what you need, and I will let you know of any cost difference. This Trans has the 8 inch rear mount on it.
There are no rusty parts when I assemble the trans,  the parts are processed with rust preventative, and when you get it I recommend you spray it with oil until you install it in your car or truck.
NOTE: as of January 8th,  Ebay Has changed the way Buyers Receive money.  It will now take 6-9 Days for me to receive the money from a sale , I am Not going to ship parts unless the money is in my now bank account, SO:  I am extending my Time to ship your Parts to 10 days instead of three.
